What's the best flock (slightly raised velvet feel) that you guys have used?
At the moment I have only used the flock from MDP but it's really thick and damned hard to cut for intricate designs so I have tried to stay away from it.
I have seen loads of videos on yube-tube with designs with flock in them and it looks a lot easier to cut than the one I use!
Anyone had any flock that's got a good feel but is thin enough to get an accurate cut?
Incidently, I am using a craft robbo to cut it (got a bigger cutter but use the craft robbo for intricate designs).

thats interesting that you use the robo for intricate designs, i use my big cutter for even the most complicated stuff, like celtic knots and tiny intricate designs - i have used target, and magic touch flock, but it wont cope with anything too intricate as you have mentioned due to its thickness, i tend to stay clear, as i always forget to change the blades round from flock to std afterwards

i used loads diferent flock in the past and must say they all pretty much this same. flock is't for fine details. now I got some MDP and it cut well and stick well.

Have you got a different angled blade that you use for flock then Laura?

Are you using your 'import' cutter for the flock Paul?

On the craft robo there is just the one blade, just different coloured caps. On larger cutters there is a more pronounced blade with much more of a point to it to go through the material for more detailed work. The standard blades though will cut flock as well on the bigger cutters.

I use my 45-degree angle for flock and flex but some people ide 65 degree for fine details.
