Hi all,

Another question or advice required this time regarding ebay... I am hopefully going to be starting selling my mugs on ebay when I finally make a design I like that is unique... my question is... I have already got an ebay account with 600+ feedback should I use this account to sell the mugs even though my user ID has nothing to do with printing or mugs etc... do you think this makes a difference...?

Im thinking keeping the account running as people trust people with higher feedback rather then having no feedback at all and starting from scratch

No reason why not, you might have to change it to a business account though!.

I'd keep the one with the high rating.

I'd use the one with the high feedback, and as John says, you'll need to change it to a business account, if it isn't already.

And with a business account, you need to be compliant with the distance selling regulations, display your contact details (there's a section for that) and jump through hoops to keep ebay customers happy.

And as of May I think it is, the final value fees are going up for business sellers to 12%, so you'll need to factor this into your selling price, along with insertion fees and paypal fees :(

YOU CAN change your user ID if you want to make it more related to what you sell. you can do it once every 30 days. And you will keep all feedbacks ect.
to do so: log in, go to My ebay/Account/Personal Information/ and then User ID - Edit
