Hi all,

I've now got my Epson 1290 up and running after a dodgy chip let me down Image

...

But...

what I'd like to know is what are the best settings to have my printer at? I use Photoshop constantly and I have my CMYK workspace set to Euroscale coated V2 (for my canvas printing side). Ive noticed that the sub-paper is of a Matt type, do you guys have your printer options set to Matt, Photo, Glossy???

Im basically after the errr basics of sub-dye printing Image , can anyone give me some pointers please?

many thanks,
Dave.

thanks Paul.

Intersting you have the U.S. profile set up, do you get very vibrant prints then? I imagine so because the U.S. profile does like to give more colour.

What paper setting do you have for your printer?

cheers
Dave.

Nice one Paul. I might try that profile out myself.

...your templates are good clean work as well, very nice. I might well be looking at buying a few soon ;)

Cheers
Dave.

If you need convincing, I just want to say to give Paul's templates a try.

He put together a Christmas mug template pack for us just recently and I put half a dozen mug designs on my website. Although I can't (yet) say that I've been inundated with orders, I can say that I've sold enough to more than pay for the cost of the templates.

In the New Year, I'll probably be bugging him for a Valentine set  but I'd certainly recommend you give his templates a try if you see anything there you like.
