Hi all,
I made the daft mistake of pressing some hi viz vests without using teflon or greaseproof paper and now my heat press puts a yellow stain onto everything I press.
Is there a way to get rid of this stain on the press plate/sponge?

Oven proof glove, hot soapy water and elbow grease with a warm heat platen:)

i would try an old towel, and press, then fold in, and press, then fold - so each time you are pressing on a clean piece of towel.

Like Martin said, elbow grease is what it took when we melted plastic or the likes onto the platen. Never done hi vis so couldn't comment directly. One thing we did was turn the press on to 200c and clean it as the residue came of easier as it was melting.
