what is the actual technique for pressing these?
would it just be as "easy" as getting the white panel in the corner edge of the press and making sure that the spokes dont go into the press or would a hat press be better?

You can get blanks from the magic touch and others and press them like tshirts, we use an A3 Adkins. But a smaller press would be easier. it really helps to have two people doing the pressing.
