I have to tell you guys about something that has just happened ..............

I have recently sent out a few emails enquiring about some white material. I prepared the e-mail before hand and sent it onto about 20 people.

As always, I run a spell check to make sure and 'normally' do a sanity check before sending.

Well, a mixture of using a laptop (with a small keyboard I might add), and speed typing with fingers like bratwurst sausages caused an unfortunate error in my message.

I inadvertently hit the "S" key instead of the "W" key in my enquiry regarding "white" material .......

...... so where as it would be a polite and profesional email enquiring about some of their white material I had seen online, it actually said $hite material I saw online!

I just cc'd everyone my apologies, you never know it might even get replies from people!

HOW EMBARRASSING!

and, how do I know .................. because 3 people have replied back, just to say the email made their day!

I had a very close moss a couple of weeks ago with a very similar error. I noticed just before I clicked send but it made me chuckle. I was send info to an address called The Shutters. It just so happened that like you with the S + W next to each other I had the U + I next to each other.

NOW COME ON .................. is everyone making deliberate spelling mistakes in their posts now?

Lol. Mine was intended but that's how easy it happens. As you said, would go straight through the spell checker as well. The joys of typing with never having been taught the correct way.

I sent one out once to a lot of people asking if their club had any kinks we could add. It should have been links........lol. I did get a couple of very interesting replies & never knew leather & whips were so popular.
