Just a quickie why do all the demos show using 4 pieces of tape for mugs when its easier to use only 2 longer strips. Does it make a difference.

Preference I guess. Some just use 1 piece going accross the 2 ends. Can't say I have seen 4 used..

I find 2 seperate pieces works best for me. You can get away with tiny pieces but I deliberately use way too much as my last employer had a hang up about using too much heat tape....heck a whole roll in just one year? Goodness forbid

Michael, the difference it makes is you tend to have to buy 2 rolls instead of 1.........lol

I find it easier to level with just 2 bits, 2 tiny bits!
