Hi, Just taken my first order for 2 fleece jackets. Is there any pitfalls I should be aware of, do the times change or the pressure for fleece?

Funny you say this as I did "my" fleece yesterday with some lettering (hot flex), advertising our shop and what I thought was a hot area has turned into a 'scorched' area ................... so I'd also be interested in what settings everyone uses.

I used 165 degress for 20 secs and medium pressure.

To prevent the scorching and/or flattening of the fleece put a scrap piece of fleece fabric over the garment before pressing (as you would use a teflon sheet). Seem to remember reading this on one of the sites somewhere.

Use a piece of a mousemat cut to the size you are printing, that way you will only get a small press imprint area instead of the press size area.

Yes! avoid fleece!!
I never pressed fleece yet that I would be happy with

I have already said I can do it, the customer bought the fleece and I have them here waiting... silly me!

Same here, we don't do fleeces

Fleeces come up really good with flock. We have a stiff clothes brush to bring the pile back up and press with a sheet of silicon over the top (the 1.6mm thick stuff) to avoid too much compression on the fleece. Flock looks really good as it is similar effect to the pile of the fleece.

This is even worst what you going do if anything goes wrong? you need to pay for wasted flecce. thats why I never do anything on someones garments. any way... flecces are best for embroidery for nothing else imo.

1 knackered customer supplied fleece and bang goes your profit.
