Hi everyone, my name is Steny, and I started doing heat sublimation 3 months ago, and honestly, it’s completely blown my mind (in a good way). At first I thought it was simple—you heat it up, you press it, and you’re done… but actually, no the temperatures, press times, and all that stuff are really not easy to get right. I live up north, so I don’t have many people around me who do this, which means forums are my only real resource. What interests me right now is mainly how it turns out on synthetic fabrics like non-smooth polyesters where the colors come out weird and the contrasts are way off compared to the original file.
