Hi guys,

I'm finally getting my first commercial printer the Epson SC-F6400H with Lc and Lm as my additional colours delivered this Monday! I'm planning to run it with S-RACE Allround 100gsm paper, I've been reading the manual and watching the Epson video manual in preparation, and I just had some questions regarding the settings.

The media types listed in the media settings are Thin 50g, Med-Thick 70g, and Thick 120g. Since 100gsm falls right in the middle, do you guys think I should choose "Med-Thick" or "Thick"?

Also, any advice on "Drying Time per Pass", "Drying Time per Page" and all that stuff, or do I just leave that on the default settings? Any general tips for a newbie would be awesome.

Cheers!

I use with default setting using trupix paper rolls and also xpres subl light (70gsm) seems to conform better on edges of towels and such when pressing - i will however say that i use wasatch as a rip instead of epson edgeprint so cant help with the actual software settings.

Nice, I'll have to try that paper next. Do you leave the printer on overnight? I didn't realise how loud the fan is.

I got it setup using Epson Edge Print and I switched to s-race tacky paper, it works much better for my use case.

I don't think Epson Edge Print allows me to change ink limits, only ink density, I think I have the density dialled in, but I don't really know what I'm looking for, is it the maximum saturation that doesn't make the paper warp?
Does anyone know a service I can use to get a cmyk icc profile?

Cheers.
