Hi there i use a cricut mug press as i have tried loads of normal type presses as well as auto ones to find the cricut one has been by far the best for me at having no issues with the final design.
i watched some videos as i managed to get a load of 16oz pyd life tumblers for cheap and saw you can do them with the thick silicone matts so the machine can clamp onto the tumbler correctly. in the videos they show you have to put the tumbler in half way down then when its done rotate around and then turn upside down and do it all again basically doing it 4 times total
issue i am having is my cricut cuts off the green light stays on but the white lights will not come back on
so i do the first press then sometimes it lets me clamp down again when i have turned it and the white lights count down (faster than mugs maybe due to metal and heating faster) but sometimes the first light flashes then comes off and no more white lights at all
other times the 2nd press works ok but then the 3rd does not or maybe the 3rd does but the 4th
i found when the next press does not work i have to turn machine off and take the tumbler out and wait maybe 5 minutes
is this because the machine element is getting too hot or it senses the tumbler is already at a certain temp so will not do it again right away?
just none of the videos have this issue and its a right pain in the back side
