Hello All,

I am a total new newbie on this matter... I would like to be able to print tree labels for a botanical garden I manage.

Because they will be placed outdoors, I thought to use aluminum boards.

These signs should be 5x7" and will have four lines of text and a QR code.

I understand I need a:
  • printer with sublimation inks, special papers
  • heat press
  • suitable aluminum boards
To complicate things, I only use Linux so not all printers have drivers...

And to finish, I have a tight budget..

Any advice?

I know, it's a lot of questions..

Best,

-Gian

I'd offer to UV print but our new machine hasn't arrived yet :-(
