Hi all. We never send anything overseas but a customer needs to send some cork coasters and requires a "HS Tariff Code (Commodity code)". Does anyone send coasters and therefore knows the code and description that should be put please?

If no one comes back with the specific code there is a gov website checker which may help

Nothing comes up under a search for coasters but there is an "other" category under the search for "tableware" which might suffice.??

Can you not get the customer to arrange for a courier to collect from you? The problem will be transfered to him.

These are coasters our customer already has and asked us the question this morning and we don't know the answer hence just wondering if anyone on here sends outside of the UK and would know the answer please.

It’s 441919 for the wooden ones I would imagine it’s the same for the rest unless cork comes under something else?
royal mail just gives these codes for coasters and another for cork placemats.

That helped so much as I googled that code and found the one for cork coasters "44219090". Thank you, will pass onto customer.
