Heat shrink wrap sticking to the mug ! Any tips how to take them off.?

Hi Guys ,
Please help me if you can. These heat shrinks are sticking to top bottom and the handle of the mugs are not coming off easily (Mug has a curved top ) . Any tips to take that off the mugs please share your tips guys, much appreciated. Thanks

What have you tried so far?

HOT WATER?

Sounds odd but wd40 is quite good at removing things like this. I’m not a
saying it will work but it could be worth a test then a good wash with fairy liquid.

Only ever used the shrink on bottles, I ran a line of tape under the wrap before heating, once cooled I pulled the tape and it splits the hardened shrink.

I had this issue when I used a halogen oven as it got too hot and melted, next time use a sheet of paper under the wrap to keep the wrap off of the actual ceramic

Done all exept Wd40 . 200 mugs done . My colleague was so stupid printed all of them . They wont come off at all . Done everything ran out of options now .

It does sound like the shrink wrap has bonded to the poly coating
