We need to get a fixed IP for our connection. We have to use 4G router, I assume this makes no difference to the fixed IP though?

Anyone advise on how/where to get one please?

What do you need to use it for?
is dns exit or changeip no use to you?

for instance my home server uses changeip so I can point a domain name to it as my broadband doesn’t have a fixed ip address.

If my ip changes changeip auto updates my iP to the server.

Just need the ip to always remain the same. At the moment if router is reset it changes the number.

Fixed ip Sims can be expensive and none come with unlimited data so you may be restricted depending on your needs.

I have the pre paid SIM already, can I not just add a fixed ip?

You need an ISP that allows static IP address. You'll need to ask your ISP or find another one that's suitable.

Another way would be to use a VPN. Most come with a static IP feature.
