Re: colour change mugs problem

Hi, I bought a box of black colour change mugs from a well known wholesaler, I emailed them to check that the image would not
be seen when the mug was cold.
I used my normal printing parameters and the mug came out looking great. When it cooled down, I expected the image to dissappear
behind the black. It didn't and the image can be seen, faintly, even when cold.
Is this normal for black colour change mugs ? am I doing something wrong ?
I dont do a great many sublimation items, just a few mugs and mouse mats. it was a customer that asked for the black colour change mug.
I actually emailed the wholesaler before I bought them to check that the image would totally dissappear when cold and was told yes.
So, are there mugs that go completely black ? am I doing something wrong ? do I have dodgy black mugs ?
I use an MDP mug press which works brilliantly for my white mugs, and an SG500 printer.
Thank you
