I grew up with my dad working with trucks until he retired.
Foden commercials. Scania, Renault trucks and Mercedes commercials.
I too worked as a parts manager.
now growing up my dad would bring home many an exciting thing for me to play with amount them flashing lights air horns and the best thing ever CB radios.
at the age of 8 I was a pro on the airwaves (probably not really) I had an 18ft Aerial on a 20ft pole above the roof of our house.
I could reach places I had never heard of.
I stayed on the airwaves until I hit my late 20s and although i do miss the cb Devon just doesn’t have the same amount of breakers as Bristol where I grew up.
