Re: Supplier warning - Very Poor Service and products......

It takes a lot for me to want to post a warning but I feel under the cursumstances it would be irresposible not to inform members.
Company in question is GetSub. Service from word go was poor but they were the only company that had what I need (well, a somewhat comparable substitute)
Long story short we bought some 4x6 wooden panels. Print quality wasn't great but biggest issue was the black coating around the blocks appeared to be melting. Turns out there was a lot of moisture in the wood and this was causing the issues, I'll attach a few quick photos. Quality of the product isn't great anyway.
I was advised that I should be applying more pressure to the blanks to ensure the moisture didn't escape.......which obviosuly caused it to be pushed out the sides, it has to go somewhere.
We also had a number of coasters from them, some arrived chipped and they all warped quite badly after pressing.
Things go wrong, products aren't always great, we understand that. Like I say, service from the get go wasn't brilliant but it just got worse. I was advised to send photos and then to return the stock for a full refund....if it was found to be faulty! Not sure how they could tell that after it's printed.
I finally got a pre paid sticker 6th December and it was for another supplier. I am unable to name them and don't wish to name them but they can be idneitifed by the letters LF. Members will know why we no longer mention this company on here. It turns out GetSub buy stock from this supplier when they don't have any. Had I known this I wouldn't have used them under any circumstances.
The stock was returned and we've heard nothing. Constantly chased...nothing. Finally a few nights ago I told them I was going public to warn other customers...no response.
For clarification, we have all email communications stored that back up this account should anyone want to accuse us of 'not telling the truth'.
I don't want to hear about how great they've been with other members although I doubt it anyway. I'm simply warning members to be careful when ordering and you make the decision yourself. I'm not saying don't order from them, just letting you know how they've treated us.
If they see this post and would like to respond, they may, with my prior permission. They are not a recognised forum supplier member so need my permission to do so.
