Hi
Is anyone using MDP Orca mugs and finding that they 'blow' certain colours? I have been using these mugs as MDP is close by and my other supplier has been out of stock. When I print with certain colours as the focus, I can see that there is blow out on particularly vibrant colours - red, deep blues and yellow. I am using a sawgrass printer and have been printing mugs for about 8 years, but only seem to get this with MDP Orca.

Any advice?

Its all I use (10oz version) and not having any issues and just had another batch delivered yesterday without issues also.

Interesting and intriguing. I use MDP and not noticed an issue. I shall have a really close look and report back if I note an issue.

Thanks, I've been using them for a good while now, but it seems to be an issue only on vibrant colours.

Can you post a picture?

I printed quite a few Orca Mugs from MDP a while ago and found that if i slightly overcooked or removed the paper before they were totally cold i had exactly the same issue as what you are explaining

Dunk them in warm/hot water straight from the press and remove the paper after the dunk.

it stops the sub process and any issues.
