Hi,
I am a newcomer to the forum and somewhat of a green horn, I have a Brother MFC J5910DW printer and I have obtained the relevant refillable tanks and filled them with Sublinova Smart Sub inks, after allowing the system to absorb the new supply I then printed an image onto Ink Experts all purpose paper. However, when trying to print to an Orcha sublimation mug for the appropriate time I found no image at all and I have tried in vain to print using different time and temperatures to no avail.

I have been led to believe using online information that the Printer I am using is suitable for this purpose but obviously as I am a novice I would like to know if I am missing something or simply using the wrong kind of printer.
I would really appreciate some help.
Thank you.

Although I would not recommend using this printer for sublimation in this instance your problem is not the printer.

If you have printed something on dye sub paper and something has printed the you will get something on the mug, even if the colours are out etc.

You are using Orca coated mugs which is an OK coating so I suspect it is all down to the mug press. You haven;t mentioned any times or temperatures or the mug press make which is all relevant when trying to assist. It would also help to know where you purchased the mugs from.

What side of the paper did you use?
