Sublimation is pale sad on polyester bag
Re: Sublimation is pale sad on polyester bag
Hi,
I tested sublimation on a 100% polyester canvas bag
Sekabo A3 Press
Paper poly 120
Printing on Sawgrass 800
Silicone mat between the heating plate and the bag
Choice on Print manager: Polyester Fabrik
The supplier tells us:
Temperature 205° C
Time 30 seconds
Pressure 5 medium
The first try is pale, sad the black is not frank
We increased the pressure then went to 45 seconds.
the result of the black is a little better but not frank
Does anyone have an idea ?
Thank you

"Silicone mat between the heating plate and the bag"
Maybe that's what is causing the issue. Either remove the mat and replace with a sheet of paper (greaseproof, or baking, or butcher's paper, ... whatever it's called down your way), or, as Justin has replied, increase the pressing time.

Are your RGB values set at 0,0,0? Sometimes if you are converting from cmyk you are not getting a true black.
