Anyone use Gimp to print from? Looking at Linux based options, got this loaded onto the PC, not sure everything is set right so would like to compare settings.

I tried once, but I didn't like it. I couldn't match the colours as well as I would like.
But this was with Mac if I remember correctly so is worth a shot on Linux.

Thanks Paul, bit of a non starter as usual such a shame. I have set the prior up but wanted to check as results weren't great.

I've been printing from Qimage today with some great results. Did get that running on Linux but printer drivers an issue.

I use gimp personally although on windows and seems to work ok for me

Would you be able to share the colour configuration screen for me please?

ill have a look when I am on my work computer, having a day off so I am on the gaming machine at the moment.

As an Ubuntu user since 7:04 (Feisty Fawn) I'm also interested in Linux solutions.

Yep, it was, I have stopped using gimp as it has issues with paper sizes and it's not very good with the iccs, I have moved to photoshop as its more efficient now
