What do you do with your reject mug prints? Fortunately I don't have a lot of rejects these days - but I do have a few that have mounted up over the years. I don't really know what to do with them other than throw them in the bin. I'm sure there must be a better way.

Throw them in the bin.

Seriously. They're junk. You've already wasted time (and money) on them, why waste any more?

It all depends whats on them. If you talking people's personal photos, names or personal details like baby weights and dates, just bin them.
If its non personal and just a standard mug you print and sell with your design on, then when i first started and made several mistakes i gave them to a local charity or cafe. However now both the local charity and cafe have me print mugs up for them.

As someone has already said tho. Its your time and money wasted so bin them. Do you really want to give poorly printed mugs away that represent you / your company? If you do choose very carefully who you give them to.

I use some for testing new images by printing on the white, unprinted, portions of the mug.

I overprint with black and then hand them out to places such as homeless centers etc.

Sometimes it is better to consider environmental factors and assisting organisations that need help than to just think about your own time and finances...

I use them for testing colours too.

My local nursery and primary school takes all my mugs and bowls for their outdoor play area and mud kitchen. I listed them on Facebook Marketplace for free and someone comes to collect them or I drop them off.
