Hi,
I'm new to vinyl cutting so probably it's silly question :) but I would like to know how to make multicolor designs by using simple basic cutter (craft robo). I understand that every colour has to be cutted from separate sheet of vinyl. but let's say I would like to do black circle with red square inside. So first I cut black circle but do I have to leave hole for red square straight away or can I transfer red square on the top of black circle? :P
sorry if it's sound complicated but don't know how to explain :)

Hi,

No you can layer the vinyl, just remember first to check the vinyl you are using is suitable for multilayering, you don't normally leave a cutout to fill in with vinyl, just whack it straight over the top, however you would normally reduce the press time of the first applied vinyl to allow for repressing of the 2nd layer.

This video is for sign type vinyl only, not heat press vinyl.

Look at these videos on the Stahls Cad-Cut Direct site, they show how to do multi colour heat transfer.

Amazing what they do overthere.
