Good morning!

After being told by xpres not to worry as there is a container of mugs coming in last week and every week on the run up to christmas, I've just been told that isn't the case and that all mugs due to arrive have already been allocated.

If anyone managed to get hold of them and has a box spare drop me a message and I'll have them from you :)

Thanks in advance all!

Yeah we got a phone call to say they'd been delayed and won't be here until 14th now. I did manage to secure a few boxes but getting them on 14th isn't much use now.

The boxes I have will get used next week or I'd glady send you one :-(

We can spare 1 or 2 boxes of 10oz mugs from MDP (Orca coated). If so email sales@ukprintedmugs.co.uk as we do not get notifications from DSF oddly when someone makes a post.

Hey, thanks so much.

After posting this I realised I'd forgotten all about listawood! I've ordered 2 boxes from them, providing their stock levels are correctly updated on the website I think I'm good! But on the off chance I get an email Monday morning saying there has been an error I'll pop you an email and take you up on your offer!

Thanks again, great community on here.

Listawood don't have stock control on their web site annoyingly. I would say 50% of the time, pre lock down, they would phone up and say they do not have stock. Main reason we stopped using them.

Oh really?! I'll wait for the call on Monday morning then and will most likely be in touch

How can a company of that size not control something as basic as stock levels... (says the person who ran out of mugs )

Sorry, but I have to question that figure... The majority of my mugs come from Listawood and in the past year I have had one phone call saying that stock is arriving in two days time and is that OK. I said yes and it actually arrived three days later.

Perhaps they were out of stock once or twice, but certainly not half the time. It just doesn't stand to reason that one of (if not the biggest) dye sublimation mug printers in Europe would be OOS that often.

Personally I would call them and not wait for a call.

I have only used Listawood a handful of times, and we do seem to have difficulty with them. The last being a couple of weeks ago. I ordered Enamel mugs, and a box of dura glaze 10oz. Not a massive order I know but it turned out they were out of stock of the enamel mugs, and the duraglaze AAA. We have just received them this morning which is fantastic and we were about to relist on etsy all of our designs but when I checked the box - All of the Duraglaze AAA were all black rim and handle! It far from ideal that a company the size of Listawood dont seem to have a better handle on their systems.

As for phoning them, I called the day after our order and were told they were busy working through them, then the day after I called again to be told they would ensure they were sent out that day. Then I called again a couple of days after that and was told they had no stock!!! I would say I totally understand running out of items this time of year and it was just dumb luck it happened to be both things I ordered but a little bit of communication would go a long way.

Alex.

Yeah I tried that but it's the weekend and they're not in. Hence waiting til Monday.

I'm only a small Etsy seller and although it's not masses of money to be losing out on, it is annoying when you're told stock levels are going to be fine and then find out later it's the opposite. I'm only urgent as I make mugs for other artists and I don't want to let them down over the Christmas period more so than myself
