Hi I've been asked to print and cut some name labels that are to be pealed and stuck to the satin wash/care label in school polo shirts. Having done a few tests with different self adhesive medias the labels easily peal off the label. Does anyone know of a media that will do the job please?Theres a few listings on ebay that claim to do exactly this so pretty sure there's something out there. I'm printing and cutting on a Mimaki solvent printer
Cheers

Re: Self adhesive printable vinyl
I no of nothing that will do this. Maybe a printable garment vinyl would do the trick but not a normal self adhesive vinyl.

Not for printing but we purchase them to name our little ones playgroup items.
I’m not sure how or where you could source it from though.
This is where we buy the printed labels.

Something does exist because we use it.Quinsfan;144831 wrote:I no of nothing that will do this. Maybe a printable garment vinyl would do the trick but not a normal self adhesive vinyl.

Try a company called RIBBON WRITER (or something like that), they sell the printer and materials for iron on name tags etc. They might have something suitable.
Be warned and do your testing though as some of the iron on labels are not as good as others.
