I have an icc profile for a brand of paper (sublijet) but ordered without thinking another make for mugs- (s-race from dyesublimation supplies). do I print using the icc profile I have or just the general one that shows for the epson srgb? if normal print setting do I need to set to just normal paper or to any quality or paper setting.

I would try the generic profile first and see what the results are. If critical color matching is not an issue, the output print might do okay.

For the most part the ICC profile is made for your combination of printer and sublimation inks ... the paper does affect things a little, but not to the point you should worry. Keep using the ICC you've already used for your inks/paper/printer.
