Hi All

Not been on in an age but, mainly as I stepped back from printing for a while in favour of my first love - Pencil Sketching.

Anyway, a question for those learned members of this band!! I bought a Freesub two mug press from Coralgraph. To be fair I've not had much use out of the press but, was using it for frosted glass beersteins, and generally all was going well but, now the right hand press has started skipping randomly up and down the temperatures and timings are up the swanny meaning I inevitably scorch the right hand mug badly. I've tried adjusting settings etc but to no avail!! The left side is functioning as normal with great results. Now, is it possible there's a problem caused by the blanket or is it more likely the control unit itself?
Many thanks in advance
Malcy

Can you swap the blanket from the left to the right thus removing the fault from either blanket or control unit?

Try easing the pressure on the blanket with the problem - I have 2 of these presses and it happens to both of them, if too much pressure is being used.
Could be that the blankets are failing!

I think you may have puirchased one of the ones I sent back with that fault! I bought two from Coralgraph and one from somewhere else - all of them duff.

I know some have "struck lucky" with these things but I'd never touch one again.

It's working fine - just ease up on the pressure and the temp stays constant. Got 2 of them, love them, best press I've had.
