decided to keep it after all, its not costing anything to keep on the shelf and hubby reminded me that selling it for a loss when it was new is not the brightest thing when it costs nowt to keep on the shelf.

so thanks to everyone that pm'd me - some with crazy low "offers" but its no longer for sale

look it up, but its an A4 size compact cutter the same one a lot of people use on here. i am just not using it, i thought it would be better to cut my scrap vinyl, but i find it easier on my big machine, i think its me being lazy lol and using a cutter i know rather than swapping machines over all the time

The ROBO cuts material 210mm wide by up to 1 metre in length. Most flex/ flock is supplied in sheets of 215mm x 500mm and vinyl tends to be 215mm x 600mm in sheet form. We've cut thousands of jobs on our Craft ROBO in the office. Also has the optical eye for registration mark reading. Good price for this little machine and very versatile.

I have been reading up on this and watch a few videos, it looks so simple or is it the videos make it look easy, is it the latest craft ROBO, or is it the silhouette the latest, not knowing hardly anything it is a confusing market if you wish to purchase, as I have learnt to my cost, 9 I brought a black cat cutter which has never been used and sit there like a gleaming expensive lesson. I need to replace it but since I burnt my fingers I have read and look but hesitate to buy.

i can understand what you mean Jennywren, i thought i needed a little simple to use cutter, that would sit on my side desk and cut out scraps and smller sheets, but i have found that my main cutter does all of this, it grieves me that i bought this when i first set the studio up, and its sat virtually unused since. i also thought about using it for cutting out stickers from vinyl etc, but i have not at the moment had to do this, as i just buy them in from another company i use, and we trade business. Maybe i am silly getting rid of this useful backup ? and should just keep it - i suppose its not eating anything up on the shelf, in its box - unlike the dog who is sleeping in the bigger box under the desk :)

That's all I need it for is cutting around wow, I wanted to car stickers maybe a bit of vinyl, but after getting it the person that sold it to me had a baby and passed me on to the the lady that runs the black cat forum but the forum was for card cutters mainly and she was very nice and helpful, but not like the first lady who knew what I was like and I felt comfortable with to keep asking the same questions without losing their rag and could put in simple terms that I understood, and would have just taught me just what I wanted, not curly wurly fussy bloody cards. once I grasp it, I get it, but a bit nervous of things I never done, but which do I buy, one with a idiots guide.

the latest craft ROBO, or is it the silhouette the latest
The Silhouette is a rebrand of the Craft Robo. The retail packaging is different and the software is slighty different as well, but the machine is essentially the same.
