Hi Guys ,
Any Idea why small prints are blurry after switching to inktech sublinova ink ? Now small prints look quite blurry (Stuff like keyrings) , Its a epson 1500w printer ..
Colours are not too bad (I am using the default epson icc ) ..Tried the inktech sublinova icc profile but colours were not good but default icc works better .I dont think this blurry isssue is due to icc ..but have no idea why ....Bought ink from ink express ...

Shouldn't be.
with correct icc colours should be spot on, so something isn't right elsewhere in your other settings.
blurry could be too much ink, too much pressing time, too high temp...

I agree with too much ink thig ..It seems paper is taking a lot of ink ..But the Chinese ink I used before had no issues wit these settings .
I have some doubts about the new paper lot come recently (Xpress sbli premuim)..I am using photo quality and epsom matt paper ..What settings do you use ...?.
Also just another question to you Tim ...Is there a profile for XPHR roll paper paper for epson 7800 with inktech ink ??.. I am happy to pay ..I dont like the waiting time to get a one made lol..

Although InkTec have a few ICC profiles available, they are most likely made with with their own transfer paper, which is available by the roll in most common sizes.
We use their paper, and have our printers (9600 and 11880) set on Epson Enhanced Matte paper setting, and create our own ICC profiles.
