me again sorry

i have just tried to print some photo's onto the fabric coasters
and they have turned out all yellow
have you got to do something to photographs to make them suitable to sub?

they were taken inside so there is a lot of artificial light on the picture

i've enclosed a small preview of the photo

i would just take a liitle yellow out in photoshop and that should fine

i took quite a bit of yellow out and it has still come out really yellow

i presume on the coasters being fabric the quality isn't going to be great but i would expect better than this
if i was buying it i wouldn't be very happy

Yellowing can occur on some fabrics if you're too hot. Assuming you've got your inks and profile configured correctly then you can bring the temp down to 180 degrees (200 may scortch the fabric) and press for 60 seconds, medium pressure.

i'm using 180 and doing it for 50 secs
i'll have a go on a mug and see what it looks like

i just tried a mug and that has come out with a yellow tinge as well really strange because
stock pictures come out fine its just a photo

i am now wondering if its my set up
i'm using an s21 with ink from intelli-ink :~

i have read other ppl have had problems with this set up as well as there's no profile for it

or whether its just a funny picture because it was taken inside with artificial yellow lighting?????

...and here in lies the can of worms with a printer and inks that don't have profiles. Some folk on here get this to work, others have been there and thrown the system out the window. You should take this up with your supplier and they ought to provide support to get their systems to work.

I had some nice results at 190 for 6o secs on BMS supplied coasters (better than I expected TBH:)

The picture (handsome family BTW) doesn't look overly yellow, unless its a white sofa.

Are other pics/artwork working as expected? If they are it's your picture, and that could be manipulated in a photo program, if they aren't then there's another problem.

Took me a while to sort out profiles and print settings but all good now, although if the print head is a bit blocked that could give an imbalance of colour (that's another of my 'learnt the hard way' tips)
