Hi whenever I try to print an image through the Forever Rip on my Oki C711wt I'm getting a Postscript error on the printer? I've looked at updating the software but am also unable to login and get a can't connect (port 4430) message. All firewalls/avg is turned off but still won't connect. I've also tried opening the port and reinstalling the Rip still but no joy. Any advice please?

Hi. I run the same RIP but cant help you with your problem, sorry. But when I do have a problem I ring my supplier and they instantly sort me out . If your supplier isnt so helpful ( and he should be) then give Forever a ring, they are very helpful. Here is their website.

Hi Earl Smith, having sent a bug report I've had a reply.... Apparently the update system was down for maintenance hence why I couldn't update, good of them to let me know when I tried to log on! And after hours of uninstalling and installing the printer and rip software I found the problem... The paper profile that I downloaded to the Rip was corrupt, downloaded the profile again and hey presto!

Good to know you got it sorted. It is annoying when they dont tell you about the updates or when they are working on the system.
If you need "outside" help, there are forums on Facebook which are very helpful. Thats where I learnt about the updates. White Toner Success Group is one of them.
