Hello,

I have an Epson A4 printer running on Fotorite ink.

Now I am looking for good sublimation paper. Heard good things about the papers from Inkexperts and can see that they make tests which they share here on the forum, to make sure that the quality is good. Unfortunately, they can't offer VAT free to Germany at the moment, so will be looking elsewhere in this case.

I will offer sublimation products on hard substrates (mugs, glass chopping boards, glass clocks etc) and soft substrates (t-shirts, aprons, bibs etc).

So what suggestions do you have?

I am grateful for all replies.

Thanks in advance.

So you're not looking for a UK company then?

Actually I'm looking for a UK company, just that they can sell it VAT free since I have a German VAT number.

Not sure how long that VAT status will last in the UK during the coming months.

It's hard to beat TruePix paper especially for hard surfaces. Many of the budget papers cause issues with printers further down the line. S Race paper for textiles, but I've yet to do my own tests.

I've been trying the latest Subli-Versa paper from Ink Experts and found it to be really good. What attracted me was their claim, that I found to be true, that it doesn't curl. Curling is a problem I found with S-Race. It caused corners to fold over and then ink to be flicked over the the print on my Epson ET-1400. Oddly I didn't experience this problem with the A3 S-Race.

In my Ricohs I've used TexPrint with great success.

Thanks for the replies.

I will give Truepix a try for the hard substrates.

Regarding soft substrates I'm a bit torn. I would like to use the Subli-Versa paper, saw the tests here on the forum. But I can't get it VAT free from them at the moment.

So right now my options are S-Race and Texprint. Since I use an Epson, perhaps the Texprint XPHR would be suitable.
