Re: Baby Clothing

Post by SarahJ »

Hello there,
Does anybody here sublimate baby bibs/bodysuits/rompers etc?
I am looking for advice regarding ink safety. I did post this earlier, however I am new here and think I tagged onto the end of an old discussion.
Can anybody who currently offers these products be kind enough to tell me if there are different rules on selling sublimated clothing for babies?
I have absolutely loads of baby clothing and have just been advised by my ink supplier that although my ink is suitable for babies and children, they do not have the certification for under 6 months old as it costs £8000 a year apparently!
Please help me  Does anybody know of an ink which is suitable?

Are you manufacturing your own product or are you printing onto pre made garments? If you are using premade garments then the ink is your only issue.

Inktec Sublinova are good oeko-tex certified formaldehyde and voc free inks.

Check with Alex at Ink Experts to see if they are also suitable for baby wear.
