Hi all,

Been a member for a few months but this is my first post. Anyone got any experience with the Fine Enamel Camper mugs? We bought ours from MDP supplies with the advice to press at 190° for 60 seconds. That didn't quite work with fading along top and bottom of logo.

We then tried 180° for 2 minutes. The first one came out perfect but the remainder faded top and bottom again. Any advice?

To prevent fading, dropping the temperature and pressing for a much longer time helps to heat up all the mug. I can't recommend a time, because I use big ovens to print these. If using mug presses, reduce the size of the printing area top to bottom by about a third smaller. Brownlow college can now enjoy their bottle of Buckie in style. ;)

We print a lot and in our Adkins Studio press we do 170c for 190s. The placement of your artwork is fine and you should be able to get good result without changing position.
