I have just taken delivery of my new combo 6 in 1 heat press
i'm really new and haven't got a clue on anything like this before

looks quite good but weighs a ton lol
not too good as i live on a boat but hey a little lean to 1 side isn't too bad

anyway what is the usual temp and time to do its a 1200W model
T-shirts
caps
mugs
fabric coasters
wood coasters

also i have some coasters
do i press them on the normal flat bed press or use the small round attachment? (plate it think)
and can i do more than 1 at a time if i use the normal flat bed press?

i have a mac and will be using photoshop to print on my epson c21 that came in the package.
is there anything i need to do to make the printing right for sublimation work?

thanks

Most temparatures and times will be supplied by the supplier who provides the printable items. You would be better off asking for wach specific item if the suppliers don't come up with the goods.

What ink are you using ?

The printer supplier should provide you with a profile to go with the inks

ok ty

i just read the instruction book again and noticed a little box which says the heat settings and times :) oops

i'll google the epsom profile then because i don't think there was anything on the disc that came with it as far as i know it was just the drivers

i presume when you do text it has to be mirrored on the page, otherwise it'll be printed backwards?

and how do i do the coasters?

thanks :)

If you do a search on here I think you'll find it's not that easy, the S21 isn't a supported printer from any of the ink suppliers. I beleive one or two have got it working with other profiles. The profile though is for the ink, thats why I asked what sort it was.

just heard back from the ink suppliers
i will NOT need a profile for this ink on my printer

he said the colours will appear true to life and have been tried and tested

so thats handy :)

You need to mirror your text, and your photographs.

As to times and temps, if you look on some of the suppliers sites, they tell you what time/temp :)
