Hi all. Any help much appreciated. Just sublimated my first aluminium picture and all was good except a slight chip on one corner. Have a got the pressure on too much?

I used the pressing guide so 3.04 secs. 7 or 8 pressure at 195c. I used Teflon under sheet, then paper then image with aluminium on top covered by the fabric they advise to use.

loving it so far just need to sort out that imperfection!

best wishes and many thanx in advance to any help. Claire :)

It chips. The EU banned a chemical which was used for bonding the coating.

Thanx for that Gary. The plastic coat pulled away fine. I didnt check it before using though! Maybe it was already damaged? Will try again with some more images. Luckily this is for me but I did want to sell them for others.

Many thanx for your time and info. Best wishes Claire :)

I bought it from Xpres. They were very helpful; so today I’m going to follow up on the threads advice of talking to Chromaluxe and Xpres if I get no joy.

My sheets were also from Xpres, but I'm guessing that all new EU stock is rubbish.
