Hi there,

Not sure if any of you have come across this site before, But it interests me and i would like to know how they are able to license these images and resell them as branded mugs, They have so many different products in the mug and drink ware range. If i have to be honest any one of us on this forum could print the same images and sell the product for less than these guy's. But they are big competitors they are all over ebay and amazon etc.

Have a look at some of the stuff they offer. I would like to know how they are getting these images for resale as merchandise some good items on there that would sell and they keep churning new stuff out on a daily basis. Check them out and any thoughts on this please do as it is very interesting indeed.

Yes i just had a look at it there, It look's like they have designers on board and once the artwork is approved they put it on Merchandise mugs glasses etc. Seem's like a fairly big operation... That's what is needed on here for a few guy's to team up together and get some licensed merchandise in to the shops etc. It's not impossible to do.

GB Eye are a very large trade supplier to retail. HMV etc have their mugs. They started off on posters which is where most of their licences originated. Getting the licence is the easiest bit. Shifting the volume to justify the cost is where the work starts.

Yes they seem to be popping up all over the place lately. Although you did mention HMV who are currently in trouble at the moment. Few of there shops have been closed where i am from. Not sure what is happening with those guy's. But anyway getting back to subject.

What are the possibilities and strains of trying to set something like this up with a team of decent designers ?
