I’ve installed CisS ink system for the second time and after a week
There are now lines horizontally appearing on the print out.
i am trying to mug sublimate my pet portraits and getting a bit frustrated!
also some extra black ink residue after some lettering. Like it’s on the rollers?
Any advise most welcome!
Do I need a new printer? Ricoh?

Did you do a printer head alignment test when you installed the CISS? Have you cleaned the rollers and all areas inside the printer for excess ink build up?

How do I clean the rollers? Is there a video or anything that would show me?

You can buy A4 cleaning sheets, but if you are careful, you can wipe a small amount of IPA (isopropyl alcohol) onto a sheet of sublimation paper and run it through the printer. Get a J cloth with a touch of IPA and clean all inside the printer where sludge builds up.

It's difficult to help without seeing what's wrong. Cleaning, head alignment, priming the cartridge, head cleans & nozzle checks are the only things you can do without more serious work. Some YouTube videos can give demonstrations which may help you better.

Be careful not to do more than a couple of head cleans without leaving the printer to rest. Can you post any photos to help us see the issues? Are you getting any nozzle check print at all?
Where inside did you try to clean and what with?
