Ive seen this mug press and need advice and thoughts about it.
I normally only print 100 mugs a year but suddenly I have two orders totaling 900 or so mugs and my Adkins twin press has one broken element. Adkins dont have replacements at the moment so Im in a jam.
I have a halogen oven but its slow.
This cheap press is more or less the same price as a replacement element.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

I have 2 of these, one has been used for a year with a cycle of around 50 mugs per week and its still going strong. The other has had a good few months work and the temp gauge is a little temperamental - could be it needs a new blanket. I had 2 x cheap single mug presses before these and wouldn't go back - but doubt they'd be on par with an Atkins.

I do not have this press but have seen mixed reviews about it. Some really good and some really bad. John's review is probably quite accurate. Two machines, one great, the other not so great...

If I needed something that sits in the corner and collects dust for most of the time, but works when I need it I would look at a Genie III from Listawood which is also sold by The Magic Touch under a different badge.

Thanks to both of you. I went in the end for a Genie 3. Plus. The plus comes with extra elements for other shaped mugs and for 50 extra pounds I though it was worth it.

A tiny bit longer and I could have sold you the same Genie press.

The Freesub isn't great. Usual Chinese temperamental wildly inaccurate press. Pot luck if you get a good one which will maybe last no more than a year.

I'm looking at upgrading my equipment. I've been using one of these chinese 5 in 1 jobies for a couple years now. time to get some proper stuff I reckon
