Hi all,

What is the best practise to deal with Piggybackers on your created listing on Amazon?

A trademark for a brand has not as yet been passed with the IP office (a month away all going well), but we've someone on one of our listings before we can brand registry it that has somehow got our design, that was created in house, and placing it onto the same item as ours.

We have sent a message to stop selling our items as counterfeit or we will take it further, the seller is from the UK,

Just wondering where we should take it from here?

This thread is just short of 6 years old but I wonder what the outcome was, did you get your TM bubbleimages and did you sort out the bootlegger.

As a point of debate, I would ask is how long after establishing your brand did you decide to trademark it, how many other members have done the same thing and does it stop bootlegging/copycats or do you enter a world of perpetual research, protection and legal costs?
