I sell framed photographic prints worldwide, so have been using the three comparison sites to get prices for international couriers.

My first price was £22, then a while later it jumped up to £30 and today it's £55. Difficult to sell these with such fluctuations in prices.

So does anyone know who can you can contact to get a set price on international parcel delivery? Most of the couriers are just brokers, so can't fix a price.

You need to go to one of the “big boys”..

These are

DHL
FEDEX
UPS

You could also look at Royal Mail.

All of of the above have International set ups with dedicated hubs and planes, they also use/share space to maximise profits. They will supply you with a rate card with a flat price.

DPD and the likes will give you set prices but they will be higher.

There is also a website similar to Parcels to go for international which I can not remember, but I do remember it was very reasonable.

To get fixed prices with any courier you need to open an account.

On another note, how do you post your frames?

I do bucket loads of frames prints but have to hand deliver due to the amount of breakages.

I order in from Nielsen usually which comes in a big oversized box. I slide the frame out of the box, pop the print and matt into the frame and slide back in 2 minutes later! Use same box for shipping worldwide.

Oh, and cheers for the info.

I recently shipped a box to Italy, against my usual better judgement I went through Parcel Monkey (had a lot of issues in years past) but it all worked out fine and very cheap.
