Re: SG3110dn and WF-7210DTW ink compatability?

I've been using a Ricoh SG3110DN from new as a sublimation printer for just over 2 years now and it's always performed perfectly. I use sublimation "ink" from Cityinkexpress and use their ICC profiles with Photoshop and Illustrator and all has been good.

I now need to buy an A3 printer for sublimating larger substrates and I'm looking at an Epson [FONT=&amp]WF-7210DTW from the same supplier (Cityinkexpress).

My question is are the two "ink" systems compatible? is the sublimation ink I use in the Ricoh the same as that in the Epsom?

I could ask Cityinkexpress of course but they might be wanting me to buy two lots of the same ink and keep everything separate when I don't need to. I'm looking for unbiased advice.

TIA guys

The ink sets are slightly different as the Ricoh uses slightly thicker consistency inks. Why not look at the A3 Ricoh if the smaller unit has all worked well for you?

Richo is a gel ink so will be different.
No guerentee that current Richo and older models will use same ink thou ....probably more likely.
