I’m not sure if I am posting in box I should I have tested for the first time heat press to t shirt I have printed with sublimation ink with Ricoh 3310 pressed on 180c for 60 second and this is what happened

as you can see on picture look like 100 years old picture what did i do wrong paper is from city ink and ink as well

My first thoughts....are you using definitely using sublimation ink? Are you using sublimation paper? Are you printing to a polyester T-Shirt?

We need details to help, printer, inks, paper type etc. Nozzle check ok? Printed anything else successfully?

suspect not sub ink ....

My money is on the t-shirt

On the bottles said it is sublimation ink and you right there guys it is on t shirt cotton one but still should be some kinda colours to it. Paper is for sublimation as well I will get some pictures what I got when get home from work. How about a temp 180 is it good for it or need to be higher?

Sublimation 101 - You need a T-Shirt with a high polyester content for the process to work, ideally 100% polyester on the outside but will work with less.

This is what I had at home it was my old T-shirt just finished fighting with my printer and thought I will try but obviously didn’t work

where do you get your inks from ? Don’t know what is best place to get it

CIE inks and paper are absolutely fine. They're all I've used for the last 4 years.

You need to be printing on 100% WHITE POLYESTER for best results. Are you using the CIE ICC Profile to print with? What graphics software are you using? Have you set your press to Celsius and not Fahrenheit?

i will try polyester and see how this will go I’m not using ICC profile it was a miracle to install printer I will look after work for that. Settings on my heat press is on Celsius so that is good I hope there not swaped in factory settings .talking about software I use inncscape and had a couple of images from website so printed out. And I’m using a iMac.
