I am finding when I order blank supplies, some suppliers are continually out
of stock. It makes it difficult when you are running a range to keep consistency of quality.
I have just gone to order placemats and coasters from my normal supplier and they are
out of stock!
We have new designs and are advertising them to find we can't get the blanks! (rant over :))

It's a regular issue as lots of factories in china are closing down. It's worth calling suppliers to ask when new containers are arriving

I have managed to source Coasters and placemats from the Transfer Press. I normally order these items from BMS. Everything I do and make is for a charity, I work full time so it can be difficult to continually shop around. Thank you for your reply, it is very kind.

Pretty sure there was a post recently about Transfer Press and a lack of stock.

It depends what you're after. I think all my suppliers, even the really big ones have had stock issues recently. I wish i had a database of every sub blank etc and could just see at a glance where it was in stock.

Great idea, would be very useful to know exactly what suppliers have got and when stock is due in.

Bit worrying on the build up to Xmas.
