Is anyone successfully printing on the ceramic money boxes, that a lot of suppliers seem to offer, but in a mug press, as they don't print right because of the odd shape, but i've only tried two suppliers - Listawood and subli blanks? anyone do a metal one?

I gave up with ceramic money boxes. Tried a few suppliers and all crap: tapered, dents, black specks, pinholes, hairline cracks when pressed,......... you name it!

there is a big post on here somewhere about money boxes and as webtrekker says we all kind of gave up on them

yeah sorry I found that after I posted. The Novachrome one was mentioned and that has a black bung, anyone tried those before I waste money buying a sample?

I use the Novachrome ones and have found them to be of excellent quality. I have the Freesub ST210 and print them in that as the print quality on these is better in the press than a halogen oven. Ask Novachrome for a sample 12 pack (I did) so you can test them before buying a full box.

Yes, those Novachrome ones look much better. The problem I had was that I ordered a box off a supplier on here and, although their product pic was the same as the Novachrome design, the money boxes I actually received were entirely different. Fortunately, that supplier (I think most of you know who I mean) no longer advertises on here or is even mentioned by members.
