We are looking for a company that can supply, ideally, pre-cut A4 & A3 sheets of 5mm thick foamex for sign work (Cheaper foam board may suffice if needs be)

Also after small pieces of 5mm acrylic, around 200mm square.

Yes, plenty of companies offering this cheaply, however, same issue as always is shipping to Shetland :-( We need a relatively small order for samples to start with, probably £50 worth but shipping is almost the same again. If we just want to order a couple of dozen pieces it's just not financially viable.

Ideally need a company that will work with Royal Mail/Parcelforce as this is the cheapest option to get stuff here.

Nothing worse than preparing an order, checking shipping, going to pay only to be told...computer says no!!

one idea is that we send Parcelforce in to collect but again, finding companies that will pack for collection doesn't seem easy.

Will check these out cheers.

Justin, Can help you with the 5mm Acrylic we have a big laser so shapes wouldn't be an issue but not the foamex. You would be more than welcome to send your own courier in.

I get my perspex here Justin - http://www.perspexsheet.uk/clear-000-perspex/

Not sure about delivery to Shetland, but I found their prices and delivery times to be very good, and the cuts were exact. It's extra if you need polished edges (you can flame-polish them yourself) but on the 2mm perspex I found the sawn edges good enough for me. Of course, you wouldn't need to be polished if laser cut, but I found laser cutting really bumped up the price.
