Hi Guys
We have a fairly new Ricoh GX e7700N - actually, had it a while but recently out of the box.
Everytime we attempt to print we get a paper jam error, remove the paper jam and it happens again!
Any ideas?
John

Have you tried Marmalade? Maybe the printer doesnt like Jam? (Its monday morning)
Seriously though. Have you tried another paper to see if that is where the fault lies?

Stab in the dark here, but with it being a new printer straight out of the box, are you sure you have removed ALL packing materials and sticky tape?
Also, have you tried both A3 and A4 sizes to try and narrow down what might be happening?

How old is the paper? My Epson 1500w gets very temperamental with older paper that may be slightly damp.
Check the input tray is firmly closed.

Geez! Who woke you lot up
I'm gonna try and be a little more 'scientific' with the printer later, with the exception of marmalade, I'll take up on some of the suggestions.
Thanks guys
Regards
John

Hi John, I have a Ricoh SG3110sfnw (standard inks, not sub) and if the paper tray gets low, it feeds doubles or jams. It also feeds a double if the print is too close to the edge for some reason. Try with a full paper tray see if that helps, or move your image away from the edge.
Cheers John

Same happens with my 3110.
