Just got another second-hand SG3110DN that is already fitted with sub inks of an unknown brand. In order to replace these with a more reliable brand I know I'll need to flush the old inks out first.

What I'm not sure about is whether to flush with deionised water, or just put the new carts in and flush with the new ink. I'm not bothered about ink wastage for flushing as long as I can get rid of the old inks in the lines and print head.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Hi Webtrekker, if you PM me your email address i can email over to you a PDF that we supply for people swapping out to sublisplash, obviously it will work with any ink.
