Hi all,

Just wondering how you guys ship your mugs to international buyers,

We've been using the polystyrene ones for sometime, sticking together and then into a mail bag. Even with this we still get some breakages along the way, mainly on USA order.

Does anyone ship with the normal smashproof ones and had success?

To be honest, I think it's just a risk you take when shipping long distances. I only sell in the UK and had one or two breakages with cardboard crush-proof mailers so switched to polystyrene and haven't had one report of a breakage as yet (touch wood!).

I have send mine in smash proof boxes with bubble wrap around the mug.... and pack around the mug so you cant "rattle" it.... I have not (touch wood) had a single break. also I cover it top to bottom in fragile tape (may or may not help)

I use the polystyrene mailers and a poly bag too and ship internationally (mostly US) - only ever had one breakage in about 5 years.

Will probably switch to double boxing since my mugs now come boxed

I had an order not to long a go for 100 printed mugs which was going to Jamaica for a Cafe. I used the smash proof boxes with bubble wrap and rolled up bubble wrap inside each mug. Fragile tape around the boxes also. They arrived with no trouble at all. Customer could not of been happier.
